For our headquarters in Tienen, we are looking for an International Sales Manager.

Your function

  • You lead the commercial activities for SESVanderHave in a number of countries. This includes the managing of agents and distributors, the business strategy, the marketing plan, branding, pricing, sales target and budget.
  • You actively participate in collaboration with the Marketing & Sales team, in the preparation of Marketing and Sales plans.
  • You translate and implement Marketing & Sales plans into clearly defined objectives for the countries for which you are responsible, to ensure that the goals for the whole M&S department can be realised.
  • You follow up on results, verify them based on set targets and KPI’s, and adjust them if necessary, to ensure that the set sales objectives can be realised.
  • You coordinate and connect with other departments: Supply Chain (including customer service), Breeding, Finance, HR and IT, to ensure an efficient and excellent service can be offered, both to our internal and external customers, that meets the quality criteria of the organization within the set terms.
  • You manage the participation in national organizations, seed associations and national committees.
  • You lead the Sales Managers (where applicable) for the responsible countries to reach our business targets.
  • You are responsible for international markets (outside Europe and North America), which include China, Japan, North Africa, the Middle East and India (your country portfolio may evolve over time).

Your profile

  • You have a Master’s degree with 7 years of experience in an international role and in a multi-cultural environment.
  • You have significant experience in (and understanding of) agriculture.
  • You have relevant experience in commercial role(s).
  • You are fluent in English and in French.
