In September 2024, United Beet Seeds (UBS) was founded as a joint venture between Groupe Florimond Desprez and DLF Seeds A/S, specialising in all aspects of sugar beet seed research, production, processing, and commercialisation.
United Beet Seeds includes the leading root crop brands SESVANDERHAVE, MARIBO, HILLESHÖG, and KUHN. All key activities for these brands, including variety selection and breeding, registration, and sales, are now managed under the UBS umbrella. This strategic alignment enables us to operate as a strong, unified UBS team, combining our collective strengths to become a stronger, more prominent partner offering alternatives to our customers.
While our brands will continue to offer a diverse and complementary product portfolio, this new approach will enable us to:
