We are pleased to share that, following the latest audit in late 2025, two of the main United Beet Seeds (UBS) seed processing sites in Tienen, Belgium and Holeby, Denmark have once again obtained their ESTA certification for beet seeds.
ESTA is a quality certification awarded by Euroseeds, the European Seed Association, recognising companies that perform seed processing activities with a high level of care, quality, and responsibility.
Although the ESTA certification is not a legal obligation, it’s how we want to assure our customers and the industry as a whole that our sugar beet seeds are handled according to best-practice standards. It also demonstrates that the chemicals that protect the seeds are used with the utmost professionalism. Read more about seed processing.
