For our IT team in Tienen, we are looking for an IT Governance Manager.
Your function
- You contribute to the Group IT & Digital strategy and act as a soundboard for the Head of IT.
- You ensure a successful alignment between the business users and the IT department.
- You use best practices, pragmatism and positive experiences to continuously improve the quality of the IT & Digital services.
- You assist in the workforce/sourcing strategy where growing people and culture is a basis for qualitative results and proudness on what has been achieved.
- You identify and address IT & Digital risks (including IT security and Business Continuity) and implement professional corrective actions.
- You ensure compliance towards all business, market, regulatory, IT & Digital obligations and rules (including audits).
- You advise on stakeholders’ relationships, change management and communication related to IT & Digital matters.
- You control and contribute to the IT & Digital budget management, workflows, processes and procedures, KPI’s and benchmarking.
Your profile
- You have a Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent by experience).
- You have proven C-level experience in IT & Digital Governance in a global environment, preferably in the EU, Belgium and France (5+ years).
- You are able to prepare strategic decisions and to join the view of different stakeholders (both business and technical).
- You have proven experience in people management.
- You have experience in Vendor/Partner Management, Contract management, Budget Management, Process & Quality Improvements.
- Your approach is “down to earth”, pragmatic and analytical.
- You have a good generic insight in the IT & Digital solutions, trends and suppliers.
- You have knowledge and experience in Microsoft solutions, Methodologies (e.g. Project Mgmt, Agile, ITIL, …), financials.
- You have excellent communication skills and are able to communicate in English, French and Dutch.
- You are open to regular travel to other locations, mainly to the North-West of France (Cappelle-en-Pévèle).
